The intensive care unit is a place where critically ill patients are intensively monitored and treated. It is an important part of a modern hospital. Improving the construction level of the intensive care unit is of great significance for accelerating the modernization of the hospital, improving the treatment capacity of critically ill patients, and improving the quality of medical care. The project was established by the China Medical Equipment Association in 2021, organized by the Emergency Treatment Equipment Branch of the China Medical Equipment Association, the Hospital Architecture and Culture Branch of the China Architectural Culture Research Association, Guan Xiangdong, Director of the Department of Critical Care Medicine, the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, and the Department of Critical Care Medicine, Peking Union Medical College Hospital Director Long Yun co-led the organization of group standards for the construction and equipment configuration of intensive care units. Taiyanglong Medical was invited as one of the editor-in-chief units and actively participated in the preparation of the standards.
Affected by the inconvenience caused by the epidemic, the preparation work was overcome by adopting an online-based and offline-based approach. After nearly two years, it was continuously improved and completed. T/CAME 60-2023 "Intensive Care Unit Construction and Equipment Configuration Standards" was released on July 25, 2023, and officially implemented on August 15. Taiyanglong Medical is committed to its work and continues to contribute to industry standardization.
